Jeremy Reta Jackson
Hi, I'm Jeremy Reta Jackson, and music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a musical family, I picked up the saxophone at the age of five and never looked back. My early years were shaped by jazz and blues, learning the art of improvisation and soulful expression. I later dove into music theory and honed my craft as the lead saxophonist in the Humboldt State University Jazz Band.
After moving to Southern California, I found my groove performing with some of the best DJs in the vibrant San Diego and Los Angeles music scenes. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to share my sound at major events and venues, including KAABOO, Big Night San Diego, Parq, Horizon Music Festival, Music Box, and with incredible organizations like Yelp!, Google, and Hornblower.
These days, my focus is on creating unforgettable experiences at private events, weddings, and music festivals. What sets my performances apart is my energy and connection with the crowd. With a wireless mic and in-ear monitors, I don't just stand by the DJ—I get out on the dance floor, weaving through the audience to elevate the vibe and create an immersive, interactive musical experience.
Unlike the typical saxophonist who sticks to jazz standards or slower tunes, I bring a modern edge, playing everything from chill house to high-energy beats that get the party going. Whether it's a laid-back cocktail hour or a high-octane dance floor, I'm here to make the music unforgettable.
